We’ve got a fantastic issue for you this week – we’re talking assessment, blockchain (of course!), D&I, why developers hate whiteboard interviews and why weallhate designed emails. But first….
Email deliverability A few of you have reported that you’ve started seeing the newsletter being delivered folders other than your primary inbox. This is likely due to the growth rate of the newsletter – we’re now nearly up to 4000 subscribers – large enough for email filters to erroneously think this newsletter is[email protected].
Three things you can do right now to make sure you never miss the brainfood!
1. Add this email to your contact address book
2. If you’re using Gmail smart inbox and find the brainfood somewhere other than primary inbox (i.e ‘promotions’ or ‘social’ or even ‘spam’) move it back to primary.
3. Open the email and click on a link, even if you can’t read it straight away. Engagement signals really help.
All of these three actions should help train your emails’ AI munchkins to better understand that this is a 100% opt-in email that you want to regularly receive. Give it shot folks – it should work.
Enjoy your brainfood everyone.
